Crystalyn & Winston Aucoin

December 30, 2016 by Angie Johnson

I recently shared this photo on facebook with the title ” Real dads raise their boys to one day fill their shoes”.

This shoot was so close to my heart ♥ My family recently lost someone to cancer as well and that is why I just wanted to honor Crystalyn when she called me to take her family pictures. She really is so kind and was willing to do whatever pose I asked her to do. Winston is such a great kid! Meeting and spending time with Ryan’s family and capturing a huge part of his legacy was my honor.  I enjoyed getting to know the Aucoin’s and have made a forever friend. Happy New Year To Crystalyn & Winston Aucoin.

In Memory of Ryan Aucoin

It is with great sadness that our family must announce that Ryan Aucoin passed away Sunday May 15th at MD Anderson. His courageous two-year battle with T-cell lymphoma, an extremely rare blood cancer and leukemia has finally come to an end. Ryan was 38 years old. He was a beloved Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle and so much more to so many people. His loss to our family is truly unexplainable …in words. The love that we have for him will remain in our hearts forever.

Ryan was a principal in the Aucoin Hart Jewelers family business. His love and passion for diamonds and the Jewelry industry was unmatched. Ryan was very well known and beloved throughout the jewelry industry for his passion.

Ryan delighted in creating a one of a kind experience for every single customer that walked through the doors of Aucoin Hart Jewelers. He just simply loved to help people celebrate those special times in their life. To Ryan there was nothing that could replace creating a special piece of jewelry, to remind that person of that momentous time in their life. Ryan was also known in the community for his work with the Aucoin Hart Foundation. His thoughtfulness and kind heart was cherished by so many people here in New Orleans.

Ryan’s legacy will live on in all of those that knew him. Ryan is survived by his wife, Crystalyn, baby son Winston, his parents, Tommy Sr. and Donna Aucoin, brother and sister-in- law Tommy Jr. and Tricia, sister-in- law and brother-in-law Candice and Vinny Patterson as well as the staff, friends of the store and members in the community of New Orleans.
